The chart
How Growler's cut maps to a lifter's frame.
Every tees, hoodie and jogger in the lineup is graded against these five points before it goes to the press. Find your number, then pick the matching piece.
Measurement chart
Growler · in
01
Chest
US band
42–50 in
Goes to
tee · crewneckFit callout
Grade the chest around the nipple line with arms relaxed. The 42–50 in band covers the typical 8–16 plate bench — sized for a wide slab so the tee drapes across the lats instead of gripping them.
How to measure
- Stand relaxed, arms hanging at your sides.
- Wrap the tape under the armpits and across the nipple line.
- Pull snug, not tight — breathe out and read the number.
02
Shoulders
US band
18–22 in
Goes to
hoodie · teeFit callout
Seam-to-seam across the back, arms at sides. The 18–22 in band targets a lat drape wide enough to clear a developed rear delt — the hoodie never crowds a wide slab.
How to measure
- Stand relaxed, arms straight at your sides.
- Measure from one shoulder seam to the other, across the upper back.
- Keep the tape level; round to the nearest half inch.
03
Traps
US band
15–19 in
Goes to
crewneck · hoodie necklineFit callout
Circumference around the base of the neck over the traps. The 15–19 in band is the cut Growler grades crewnecks around — a higher, roomier neckline so the collar clears the traps instead of sawing into them.
How to measure
- Keep the head straight, chin level.
- Wrap the tape around the base of the neck, over the traps.
- Sit a thumb-width under the Adam’s apple. Read the number.
04
Thigh
US band
24–30 in
Goes to
jogger · shortFit callout
Upper-thigh circumference at the glute fold. The 24–30 in band keeps joggers on the squat-built side — extra room through the quad so the inseam never rides up when the hips set up under the bar.
How to measure
- Stand tall, weight even on both feet.
- Wrap the tape around the fullest part of the thigh, at the glute fold.
- Keep the tape level — don’t let it angle down toward the knee.
05
Hips
US band
38–46 in
Goes to
jogger · shortFit callout
Measured at the widest, around the squat-built pelvis. The 38–46 in band is the one Growler blocks the rise around — relaxed through the seat so a 600+ squat doesn’t pull the waistband out of position.
How to measure
- Stand with heels together, weight even.
- Wrap the tape around the widest part of the hips, around the seat.
- Keep the tape level all the way around — no sagging in the back.
Between sizes? Size up for the oversized drape the brand was cut for. Between an XL chest and a large thigh, the squat-built hips do the tie-breaking.
